Eric Robinson (08/07/2021)
First time out with this skipper and very impressed. Clean and tidy boat with a knowledgeable man at the helm. Put us over the fish in a species hunt comp. Helpful to the inexperienced and good with the tangles and unhooking. Plenty of laughs and hot drinks. Kind weather topped off a very enjoyable 10 hour trip.
Skippers Reponse: Enjoyed the competitors onboard on the day. Good few species taken and A very enjoyable day. Bit confused regarding the peg selection but that just added to the banter. Maybe a pie as bait for the skipper next time Eric ? Lol. Good crack all round, cheers

6 strangers on an unknown boat does not bode well, BUT all was well (except the weather) we had a great day helped along by Kevins sense of humour. we caught all day, nothing spectacular, but fish are fish even when some are called dogfish....a good day in good company, thats all we needed. thanks.
Skippers Reponse: Thanks Ken. Was a pleasure to have you onboard. Look forward to seeing you in the future.

Darren Greatbatch (20/05/2021)
After having seen the weather forecast we knew we were in for a wet and rough trip.
We fished inshore and we were soon into the smoothies Huss dabs and even a small tope.
This was the first time out with Kev and he didn’t dissapoint.
He supplied us with sausage baps and later homemade soup to keep us warm(tasted very much like Aldi’s )
All in all a good trip in the conditions and looking forward to going on the cassie rose again
Cheers kevSkippers Reponse: Cheers Darren. Very much enjoyed the day myself. Good steady fishing both ebb and flood tides. Aldi? Hurtful! Lol
See you onboard next time.
