  Gary kindly arranged a charity fishing day on behalf of The Matthew Hackney Foundation in association with The Guildford City Sea Angling Club, it was a truly fantastic day with plenty of different species caught by everyone on board. Gary gave brilliant advice and help for the novice sea anglers, like myself, and it was great laugh throughout the day with plenty of banter! The rods on hire were top notch and there was plenty of tackle and bait, the supply of tea and coffee was a godsend as wasn't the hot summer day we were all expecting. Cannot recommended Hold Fast and Gary enough, will be back!!

  Gary organised a charity fishing day for The Matthew Hackney Foundation with members of The Guildford City Sea Angling Club and friends of the Hackney family on board, we were geared up for a hot sunny day however turned out to be an overcast and chilly day with thunder/lightning and rain thrown in! Despite this it turned out to be a fantastic trip catching lots of mackerel for bait on the way out to deeper waters which helped greatly in catching various species including Tope, Rays and Conger to name a few, there was never a time someone didn't have a bite or reeling a fish in. With some novice sea anglers on board Gary's help and advise was invaluable and the banter was flying around between us all and a great laugh was had throughout the day. The rods were top notch and there was plenty of tackle and bait plus tea and coffee which was a life saver in the cold conditions. Couldn't recommend Hold Fast and Gary enough and will definitely book another trip.

  Had a fantastic day with my brother on Hold Fast. Gary is a fantastic skipper, very likeable and generous about sharing his considerable knowledge and experience. Learned a lot and had a great experience. Will definitely be booking again. Many thanks!

  I cannot recommend Gary highly enough as a fishing charter skipper! My father and I regularly fish with Gary, and each trip has been nothing short of spectacular. Gary's boat is always clean, well-maintained, and perfectly equipped for any fishing adventure.

  Wow what can I say Gary and Susan are amazing hosts we booked them to scatter my father in law
  ashes out at sea him being a submariner they could not do enough for us 5 stars from us Will defo book them for fishing trip in the future
