Fishing Trips

The boat operates from Poole Quay all year round. We normally fish two days per week but will run extra trips during busy periods. Full day, half day and evening bookings are available. Multi day bookings are available but need to be arranged in advance. We provide charters for smaller crews of up to six anglers. Most of the fishing is within 25nm of the harbour to minimise travelling time and maximise fishing time.

All types of fishing are available from inshore drifting and anchoring with ultra light tackle for plaice and bream to anchoring with heavier tackle for rays, tope and Conger eels.

We also do specialist fishing such as bass fishing, drifting offshore banks for big flatfish and fishing deep water wrecks and reefs.

Poole is also a great port for doing a species hunt.

Catch and release is always encouraged and size limits are strictly enforced. If you want to retain some fish to take home there are facilities to keep it in prime condition.

I have been boat fishing from the port for 40 years. I have been skippering fishing trips from the port for over 20 years although I have only more recently started doing commercial trips.

I have produced many personal bests for my anglers over the years and always get a thrill from seeing a good fish coming aboard.

I have lots of knowledge of the different areas/ marks particularly within 25nm of the harbour.

I am a very keen angler myself and am always looking to learn something new.
