Charter Boat: Peganina
The Peganina is a fast Lochin 33 with a 2016 Iveco 280hp turbo-diesel engine and an advanced electronic suite.
Anthony has been boat fishing since the age of 2 and a half, and now, aged 33, has gained a lot of experience and knowledge of UK waters, though he has fished and dived all over the world. He was a very keen dinghy angler before starting his charter career at 22 whilst at university in the waters off the north coast of Cornwall, based out of Newquay, before returning home to work out of Rye. Anthony has also been a member of Dungeness and Newquay lifeboat crews for around 14 years. His qualifications include RYA Advanced Powerboat and RYA Yachtmasters.

Excellent skipper. I fish all over the UK and Ant is still my favourite, even though he has new mates now and doesn't invite me to any of the competitions any more. No one tried harder to put you on the fish. More importantly, Ant will go fishing when other skippers have cancelled their trip and are doing whatever they do when they dont go fishing. If Ant says it is too rough, expect to lose a few tiles off your roof. Always a good laugh, bad tea and no food unless you bring it. Boat isnt the newest or flashiest but plenty of room and very seaworthy.

Me and my group from Cambridge are now regulars with Ant on Peganina doing stuff like conger eel and wreck drifting that we do not have much of of from our nearby charters. Ant is a likeable, friendly skipper who always does his best to give his customers the best from this historic venue. Conger to 51 lbs and several over 40 last trip. Can't wait to be back 2 weeks time. Denis Moules.

And some quality catches. always does his best to put you on the fish just to get out of making the tea.

Catches two much ... I own a charter yet still pay to go out with ant. Cant drink rum for shit though light weight
