Charter Boat: Predator
APRIL 2024 : Predator has been out of the water for 2 months having a major winter update, full painting including hull, deck and fore cabin. All mechanical service work carried out too.
We have also upgraded all of the loan tackle to include ABU, Shimano, and PENN Rods and Reels.
Friendly local boat, well known in the north east. Great sea boat. experienced skippers. Boat just had a major overhaul. Very flexible to our guests needs. Bring at least 7 people with you and the boat is yours for the day .
Starting evening trips soon during the week from 5 - 9 pm. Tel' for availability.
Day trips 8am till 5pm
All day wreck fishing trips for the more experienced people
Due to a full cancellation last year by a group at 9pm the previous evening, we are now requesting a £25 deposit off each angler ( day trip ) to secure your place and prevent "no shows", and £10 per person for evening trips. It is the fairest way to other anglers and the staff on board. Deposits are refundable/transferrable if we don't sail, or you give 48 hours notice of cancellation.
Ralph has had boats in Hartlepool for around 30 years and been fishing these grounds since he was a kid / some ......... ‘mmmmm’ 40+ years. A good skipper is one that has fished himself, and Ralph has been a keen fisherman for 50 years. He won't stay in one place drifting over and over again, he steams around burning the diesel until he gets you on the fish. Look at the Reviews, they speak for themselves.

We had a great day on Predator, Ralf is an attentive skipper and angler I say this as a lot of skippers will take your money and just troll the same ground and if you don't catch they will simply blame your rig or bait choice, not so with Ralf he used his electronics then picked up a rod to see what was needed to get a take and if that didn't happen he would move to another area till we caught this resulted in a couple of great ling for 1 of the lads and plenty of fish for the rest, cheers Ralph see you soon

Great day out on predator, Ralf is an attentive skipper and angler too, I say this too as so many skippers aren't and are happy to take your money then drift over the same ground and if you don't catch blame your choice of rig or bait, not so on predator, Ralf used his electronics to find the fish and will then pick up a rod to see what the fish are taking, if they weren't he wasn't shy about using more fuel to find some fish that were, because of this one of the lads on our trip had 2 nice ling

We do try. It wasn't the easiest of days, but we managed a few decent codling, haddock and of course those two beautiful ling , one of which was around the 11lb mark.

What a great day we all had, Ralph got us on the fish, bucket fulls of mackerel then took us onto the cod grounds , catching good size cod, haddock and ling, Ralph’s patience with my 10 year old was second to none taking time with him getting him into fish and sorting his tangles out, thanks again Ralph your a top bloke and we will be back as soon as we can.����

Took my son on The Predator, what an unbelievable trip with Ralph and crew. He’s a very experienced skipper with a great sense of humour. Great craic. The team were very friendly and helpful which made the whole trip worth while, some cracking fish too. I will certainly be returning!!! Highly recommended, THANK YOU

Took my son in law out on this boat on 17th June 2023 . Never been sea fishing before , the skipper ( Ralph ) was amazing went through all the health and safety before leaving and was at hand to help with setting the rods up , son in law took really poorly and collapsed, this man stayed really calm and kept others calm while putting his professional skills to action making sure the patient was his priority , before I knew it we had the life boat there to take him to hospital . I will be using this man again and would highly recommend this company for days out . You sir went above and beyond Carnt thank you enough .
Skippers Reponse: Thank you Barry for the lovely message. It was a very unfortunate experience which we do have to train for. Years of First Aid training kicked in when the incident arose. So pleased the outcome was positive and it didn't spoil the rest of the day for the other anglers. Look forward to seeing you on board again in the future .
